			COMPETITION RULES
	1.		A person will automatically be entered into the promotional competition, hosted by the Sutherland House Guest House when making a booking for a double room in the Sutherland House at the normal price of R500.00 per night including a continental breakfast.
	2.		Each night booked shall allow for one entry into the competition.
	3.		Entries to the competition are limited to the first 4 000 (four Thousand) bookings that comply with the rules and conditions of the competition only.
	4.		Bookings are subject to availability of a double room.
	5.		Only natural persons over the age of 18 years will be allowed to enter the competition and the prize will not be awarded to any company, close corporation, trust or any other legal entity or a minor child, regardless of any bookings made in that entity or child’s name.
	6.		The following people will not be allowed to enter the competition: Any director, member, partner, employee or agent of or consultant to
			the Sutherland House or its owners or any spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of any of these people.
	7.		Any foreigner who enters the competition must comply with Exchange Control legislation and will therefore not be allowed to take the money out of the country once he has sold the property.
	8.		A person will not be allowed to transfer a booking for accommodation to any other person.
	9.		The date of a booking may be changed in accordance with the Sutherland House’s policy, but all bookings must be taken up by no later than 30 June 2011.
	10.		Should the accommodation not be taken up for any reason the booking fee will be non-refundable.
	11.		This competition is subject to a minimum of 3000 entries. Should the competition not proceed due to a lack of entries, entrants who have not yet taken up their booking will have the choice to keep the booking or alternatively to cancel the booking and get a refund.
	12.		Entry into this competition will exclude any other promotional offers by the Sutherland House running at the same time.
	13.		The winner will be drawn by a representative of the Sutherland House’s auditors, at their offices in Cape Town during the month of May 2010.
	14.		The prize may not be exchanged for cash.
	15.		The prize will be non-transferable and will therefore only be transferred to the person whose name was drawn as the winner.
	16.		The decision of the auditors will be final.
	17.		The transfer of the prize is subject to the winner signing a written acceptance of the prize and providing the promoter with the required documents in terms of the Financial Intelligence Centre Act, ie. a certified copy of his identity document and valid proof of his residential address, upon request.
	18.		Should the winner fail to comply with the condition stated in number 14 above, he will forfeit his prize and the auditors shall draw a new winner on a date and time decided upon in their sole discretion.
